EXPERIMENTAL AND THEORETICAL RESEARCH OF ACOUSTIC HELICOPTERS BEARING CAPABILITY

A layout of an acoustic system developed for helicopters observation is described. A numerical simulation of errors in detection, bearing and identification depending on distance between receivers, inaccuracy of this distance measurement and equipment characteristics was conducted. The results of errors simulation, helicopters noise experimental studies and detection of helicopter bearing are outlined.
